BEFORE YOU BUY

Bees, frames and clear information.

Each delivery starts with knowing what you need.

Before buying a swarm or a nuc in Lleida, confirm the frame dimensions and colony condition. Not all Dadant systems use the same measurements.

Before closing a sale we will confirm content, queen, date, price and method of collection. We currently do not announce stock or a guaranteed delivery date.

Work system: Dadant; measures to confirm
Content: Frame count, brood, bees and food stores specified before handover
queen: Queen information and checks agreed for each nuc
Transport box: You can provide your compatible box or consult a separate one
Availability: According to season and individual confirmation

Nuc or swarm: choose with information.

In everyday language they are sometimes used synonymously. For a purchase, the content and condition matter more than the name.

Bee nuc

A small colony on frames, with a queen, bees, brood and food stores. Its composition should be specified clearly.

Captured swarm

A group of bees that has separated from another colony. Capturing it does not automatically make it a nuc ready to deliver.

Your own box

If you bring a nuc box or hive, we need to check compatibility and arrange the transfer before you travel.

Questions about buying nucs

Can I buy a five-frame nuc?

Mention this format in your enquiry. We will confirm the frame count and contents in the offer. Five frames does not necessarily mean five brood frames.

Is the nuc box included?

The box is agreed separately. You can bring a compatible box or check the option of purchasing it separately.

Do you send bees home?

We do not advertise a shipping service. Collection, transportation and documentation will be specified before any delivery.

Can I enquire about nucs for 2027?

You can communicate your interest for the 2027 season. It is not a guaranteed reservation: availability and conditions will be confirmed first.
